The Campus Cafeteria application has been developed to facilitate digital food ordering, payment processing, and order management for students, faculty members, and staff of Agnel Polytechnic Vashi. This policy applies to all users who access, register, or use the mobile application in any manner.

By downloading, registering, or using the application, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection and processing of your information as described herein. This includes personal details such as full name, mobile number, email address, student ID or roll number, residential address, and profile photograph for identification and account management purposes.

When users make payments, transaction-related information such as payment status, order amount, and transaction identifiers are collected. Sensitive payment credentials such as debit card numbers, credit card numbers, or UPI PINs are not stored on our servers. Payments are securely processed through the Razorpay payment gateway.

The application may also collect device-related information including device type, operating system, IP address, device identifiers, and app version to ensure compatibility and system security. Permissions such as camera, storage, location, and notifications may be requested strictly for operational purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

Information collected through the Campus Cafeteria application is used only for legitimate operational purposes. Personal information is used to create and manage user accounts, verify identity, authenticate logins, and ensure secure access to services.

Transaction-related information is used to process food orders, confirm payments, generate receipts, and maintain necessary financial records. Device information helps improve application performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and prevent misuse or fraudulent activities.

Payment-related information is securely transmitted to Razorpay for processing transactions, which follows its own privacy and security standards.

User information is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil operational, accounting, and legal obligations. Transaction records may be maintained for auditing, fraud prevention, and compliance purposes.
